Dedicated Systems is proud to offer load balancing cluster servers for those customers who absolutely can't have their site offline for even a reboot. The cluster system solves this issue as it provides more than one web server serving the same content.
Load balancing works by always sending incoming traffic to the least busy server in your cluster group. If a server needs to be taken offline for maintenance it can be done gracefully and no one will notice that a certain server is down as the others stay online.
The cluster can be configured several ways to make sure new traffic always goes to the least busy server. This is a must for very busy sites. Load balancing pricing depends on your specific needs. At least two servers are needed. Cluster load balancing is available with Linux-based servers only.
